Back from my Barcelona incentive trip and decided to do some packing at home. Came across a file where I kept all my income slips for the past few years and make a pleasant discovery.
I first joined the business in late 2003 while I was in NUS year 3. Only 5 months plus to work in 2003 and my income was not that fantastic, I think I made slightly less than $10,000 that year. That was my first annual pay check.
As I flip on the file, going into 2004 pay check, I was pleasantly surprised. That year, I was still doing my Honours in Computing. I remembered how I shuttled between work and school, going for appointments after classes and weekends. Well, the schedule was pretty much like my peers giving tuition.
My paycheck for 2004 is a stunning $42,621.19!
That is like $3,551 per month on average! Possibly better than a working adult at that time. Not bad at all. I believe none of my peers doing part time work in 2004 beat that amount.
Things are definitely looking good for 2010. Working hard for another income breakthrough!

Work hard, have fun!
